Cupid.com is a general dating website launched by NSI Holdings in June 2002. Although the company is based in the UK, the dating site is home to members from all around the globe, including countries like the United States, Brazil, India and France. Once called lackluster because it didn't have any unique features to set itself apart from its competitors, Cupid underwent a huge revamp last June 2016, adding the now popular features LikeBook and Quiz Matching.

Although the dating site has been around for a long time, it hasn't blossomed in numbers like its contemporaries. However, the user numbers for Cupid.com are still fairly decent as there are always several people online as proven by the number of people in the chatroom during peak hours. Similar to other matchmaking websites, Cupid is filled with users looking for a serious relationship or marriage. This doesn't mean that you can't look for fun or friendship in this site - in fact, you'll find a large number of users looking for something "not serious" as written on their profiles.

For example, for the Extroverted slider, you can move the slider all the way to 100% if you are a sociable and outgoing person. However, if you're an introvert, you should keep the slider to 10% to 20%.

Cupid finds out more about who you are through statements regarding your personality, hobbies, interests, lifestyle, relationship views and reactions to certain situations. You can either agree or disagree with each statement shown. The more questions you answer, the more accurate your matches are. As an added bonus, you can get a 50% on your premium subscription if you answer at least 50% of all statements.

Cupid Arrow

Just like any other dating site, Cupid has a premium subscription which gives users more perks and benefits. Safe Mode

As far as matchmaking sites go, Cupid is a keeper. There are just so many things to do on the site to keep you entertained. Aside from finding matches, you can also answer the quiz, complete your profile and swipe left or right on LikeBook. The inability to communicate with others for free will definitely dissuade some people, but once you're a premium member, you will be privy to a whole lot of features and perks to make the entire experience more enjoyable.
