JDate is a premier dating site intended for Jewish men and women to look for other Jewish singles. 

It was developed in 1997 by Spark Networks USA, which is headquartered in Los Angeles, California

JDate helps Jewish single men and women look for potential partners through matches based on their preferences on the profiles

As soon as you upload your photos, an "Awaiting Approval" will be shown at the right side of each image. Our administrators will screen every photo uploaded to ensure the safety and quality of the profiles. Even though we try to get your photo submissions through quickly,please allow 24-48 hours for approval. 

You can register on the website or through the app which is available at the Apple store and Google Play for your smartphone. 

To edit your profile, just click on the profile thumbnail at the top right of the page, click on MY PROFILE and then click the EDIT PROFILE button after which all changes will be automatically saved.

All Jdate subscribers can see if other members have read their messages. When viewing your messages with another member, you can look to see if there is a text that says READ below the most recent message. This indicator will appear in bright green. 

Registering and creating your profile is free for JDate but should you wish to connect with other members, you need to avail the paid plans. 

Once you have purchased your plan, only you have the authority to manage your subscription, stop auto-renewal or issue refunds through the settings on iTunes. 

When making a purchase on JDate, you may notice a $1 pre-authorization on your credit card, which will be removed within 24 hours.

Automatic renewal is turned on with each subscription purchase. If you purchased your subscription through the website or Android app, you can turn off the automatic renewal feature at any time prior to the renewal date on your Account Settings.

There are two ways to report:

• Inbox: While viewing a message from the member you'd like to report, click on (...) in the upper right-hand corner. Select Report and choose the appropriate category for your concern, then click Send.
• Profile: While viewing the profile for the member you'd like to report, click on (…) underneath a member’s profile picture.  Select Report and choose the appropriate category for your concern, then click Send.

If you are having trouble logging in, you may check the following:

• Make sure you're using the email address associated with your Jdate account or are logging in through your Facebook account.
• Check that you are entering your correct email address and password. Keep in mind that passwords are case-sensitive.
• Check your computer or mobile device to confirm that you're using the newest version of your web browser.

JDate ensures the safety of its members by reviewing the profiles and pictures that they upload on their pages. However, if there is any suspicious activity, you can contact our customer support who are available to help seven days a week.
